Alex Lieberman - Upcycled Accessories for Crescent Communities

This unique project beautifully blends the environmental sustainability of our Upcycling Initiative with the custom commissions managed through our Inspiration Projects division! ArtPop was contacted by Charlotte-headquartered Crescent Communities, who wanted to creatively repurpose materials from retired light pole advertising banners. To tackle such a unique challenge, ArtPop commissioned local artist and upcycle designer Alex Lieberman!
Originally used to promote the opening of Monarch Market in Uptown Charlotte, these light pole banners, Alex crafted stylish sacoches and bottle totes from the durable but soft material.
