To suit our partners' needs, we offer two distinct options for our services on each project:
Direct Project Management - Hire ArtPop for comprehensive management of your creative project. We'll oversee all progress & development from start to finish, and deliver a turnkey creative solution that brings your vision to life!
Artist Referrals - ArtPop will provide you with curated options from our expansive local network for consideration, and connect you with the right artists(s) for you to work with them directly.

1. Connection & Discovery - Describe your mission and what you’d like to create, with any important details we should consider such as location, scale, dimensions, budget, timing, etc.
2. Scoping & Ideation - We’ll develop your idea into a creative strategy including artist recommendations, design options, timelines, and more for you to consider.
3. Management & Implementation - Time to create! As the project artist(s) employ their talents, we’ll keep things communicated, organized, and documented to ensure a smooth project from start to finish.

How are projects funded?
The client is responsible for funding their project. In some cases, our clients have applied for grants to fund their project.How is the cost of a project determined?
The budget for a typical project is based on the fees of the hired artist(s) covering renderings, materials, equipment, etc. + ArtPop's fees for Direct Project Management or Artist Referrals.What can be created through Creative Commissions?

Creative Commissions opportunities are available to visual artists working in all mediums, who reside in ArtPop’s areas of operation (see below). These opportunities are not solely available to those who have been in ArtPop's other programs, or to those who have worked with ArtPop in the past.
*ArtPop’s program areas currently include: Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanly, Union, York (SC), and Chester (SC).

Local creatives who fill out our Artist Interest Form are added to our database of active community artists, their skills, and interests.
When a client connects with us to initiate a new project, we reference this database - as well as our larger network of community artists - so we can always recommend the right artist(s) for the job!
As all projects are currently client-initiated, ArtPop cannot guarantee that every artist who completes the form will be hired for Inspiration Projects opportunities.

Nope! While a number of our recent projects have involved murals, we have also managed a projects involving a variety of creative mediums and skills - see “Open to Any Creative Challenge” and “Recent Projects” for examples!
Murals can also be applied as a printed vinyl decals, meaning any artwork could become a mural, if it’s the right piece for the project!
