Amber Thompson - Interior Mural for Truist Field
To assist Truist in refreshing their luxury suite at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte, we commissioned local muralist & sign-painter Amber Thompson to illustrate this spectacular mural artwork! Amber knocked it out of the park with her design, incorporating Truist’s signature brand elements and communicating their purpose to inspire better lives in and for the Charlotte community.
Von Jeter - Window Murals for Lowe’s Tool Rental
In this latest iteration of our Inspiration Projects partnership with Lowe’s Home Improvement in SouthEnd Charlotte, we worked with local artist Von Jeter, who beautifully illustrated scenes depicting many of the home improvement projects that are made possible through Lowe’s Tool Rental service!
Marcus Kiser - Interior Mural for Blue Cross NC
Serving our community through local art is what ArtPop's mission is all about, and this Inspiration Projects mural delivers on that promise! Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC reached out to us with their idea for a community-based mural to brighten their brand-new West Charlotte Community Center. To bring their vision to life, we had the pleasure of working alongside Charlotte artist & designer Marcus Kiser, who led art students from West Charlotte High School in painting the mural based on his original design.
Cheeks - Artwork for Harris Teeter & P&G Hispanic Heritage Month Display
Local artist Cheeks was commissioned to create the ultimate photo backdrop for th Futbol Fiesta Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium, ahead of the epic Mexico vs. Ghana match! As over 60,000 fans turned out in droves for the match, Harris Teeter, Proctor & Gamble, and ArtPop Street Gallery combined to create a fan experience celebrating “food, family y futbol!”
Laurie Smithwick - Sidewalk Mural for Anne O. Moffat Park
In ArtPop Street Gallery’s 50th Completed Inspiration Project, the SouthPark Association of Neighborhoods (SPAN) commissioned ArtPop and Cities Program Class of 2022 artist Laurie Smithwick to dream up a mural that would compliment the new half-acer park’s lush green space, while adding a touch of color and whimsy!
Junior Gomez - Artwork for DKMS Charlotte Billboard Campaign
DKMS Charlotte has partnered with ArtPop Street Gallery and artist Junior Gomez to launch an art-forward billboard campaign that aims to save BIPOC lives by diversifying national stem cell and bone marrow donor pools.
Hilary Siber Edwards - Exterior Installation for Lowe’s Tech Hub
For the exterior component of this collaboration between ArtPop and Gökotta, we teamed up with Cities Program ‘18 Alumni Hilary Siber Edwards to design a unique artwork to be installed on the exterior of the Lowe’s Tech Hub in Charlotte, NC.
Natalie Daratony - Interior Murals for Northlake Mall
For these two interior murals in Charlotte’s Northlake Mall, ArtPop worked with artist Natalie Daratony to connect art and community! Directly referencing the two primary communities that the mall serves (and its namesake), the Charlotte and Lake Norman murals were digitally designed by Natalie using her existing traditional paintings as a reference.
Edelweiss Vogel - Interior Murals for Bank of America at Founders Hall
For this project, ArtPop was tasked with managing art murals for Bank of America’s employee game lounge within Founders Hall in Uptown Charlotte. As the lounge is a space for employees to rest and enjoy themselves, the artwork would need to be fun, uplifting, welcoming, and inclusive. ArtPop suggested 2022 Cities Program artist Edelweiss Vogal for this project, whose bright and energetic art style was a perfect match for this task! The artwork is displayed as printed vinyl murals occupying the lounge’s outer-facing windows and on a wall within the lounge itself.
Emily Batson & Greg Barnes - Artworks for ServisFirst Bank
ArtPop worked with Progressive AE to manage the purchase and installation of two artworks for ServisFirst Bank’s new office space. Located within Panorama Tower in Ballantyne Village, the office is now the permanent home of an original painting by 2023 Cities Program artist Emily Batson, and a canvas print by 2021 Cities Program artist Greg Barnes!
Cheeks - Ballantyne VR Mural for Northwood Office
In our ongoing partnership with Northwood Office and their CREATE Ballantyne art program, we worked with local muralist Cheeks to design and virtually paint this striking “Welcome to Ballantyne” mural!
